Racewars 2014 saw a couple of hundred of Perth's toughest street cars hit the Wyalkatchem airstrip in the AntiLag Motorsports run event.

This was the 10th (and final) running of the Cranksters Pipeline Picnic, which originally finished at the Mundaring Weir Hotel, but quickly outgrew that venue. The Cranksters found a new venue at the Mundaring Hotel, although it didn't take long for the event to reach the capacity of the new venue as well. With the popularity of the Hot Summer Nights event only a couple of months earlier, the Cranksters decided to pull the pin on the Pipeline Picnic and look at running another event a little later in the year.

In 2010, as part of a longer road trip I nicknamed 'The Bonneville Run', we visited the Bonneville Salt Flats for the SCTA-BNI's Bonneville Speed Week. This is just a small selection of some of the 500 plus competitors and countless visitors to the towns of Wendover and West Wendover that week.
