2007 Fathers Day Hot Rod Show

As has become kind of tradition for me, Fathers Day saw me in Fremantle for the Fathers Day Hot Rod Show at St Patricks Primary School. This show is run by the West Coast Street Rod Club, and is a fairly laid back, yet very well run event.

2007 WA Drift Battle - Round 5

Photos are now up from Round 5 of the WA Drift Battle series. Nick van Geest (Banger) won the A section and Andrew Biffen was runner up. Adam "Borneo" Trewhella came home in 3rd place in front of Lance Biffen.

SupraWA August Meet and Cruise

SLE - 355

One part of this site that has been a little under-utilized has been the Photo Shoot section. I have previously posted photo shoots of Steve Allen's "No Pussy" Mercury Cougar and Lindsay Bekov's "Hevy Metal" Monaro.

2007 Bio Diesel Super Trucks

Sundays racing saw Bob 'the builder' Middleton take out the EnFuel BioDiesel SuperTrucks, Matt Cherry win his first Torque Trophy in Street Cars and Kerry Wade take a break from winning Torque Trophies by winning the GT Tander Trophy for Improved Production cars.

2007 Biodiesel SuperTrucks - Wanneroo Raceway

V8 Supercar photos

I've just finished adding photos from the V8 Supercar race meeting at Wanneroo this weekend, but due to legal issues, none of the photos of actual V8 Supercars are available for sale. If you wish to use these photos commercially, please contact V8 Supercars Australia and they will explain to you why this is not possible.

You can view the V8 Supercar photos from Friday here, Saturday here and Sunday here. Don't forget to check out the photos of the Dick Johnson Racing / Jim Beam grid girls in the Sunday photos.

Motorplex Season Opener

Site restructure

You may have noticed that there are some photos missing from the 'photo gallery' section. This is because those photos are now in their own dedicated galleries, when the site re-structure is complete, there will be dedicated galleries for circuit racing (including drifting), drag racing, photo shoots and wall papers.

The main gallery will remain active with all the other photos. The purpose of the restructure is to reduce the load on the server, as the number of photos in the gallery was rapidly approaching the maximum the site software could handle.

Nitro Funny Car Fury

Photos from the Nitro Funny Car Fury are online now, but are only visible to 'VIP Members', they will be made available to the general public in a few weeks time.

Looking at the results of the survey I posted on the subject, this shouldn't bother too many people, so I'll be restricting access to most events for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, to see how things work out with the VIP section...

Site Updates...

As you may have noticed, I've recently upgraded the website software, and deleted the entire database of photos. The reason for this was that the old setup was starting to get a bit buggy and was losing photos along the way. For example, the last album uploaded to the old site was the 49 photos from the Supra Club of WA cruise on the weekend, of these, only 41 photos displayed.
